KBA-Bielefeld, a design centre for optical quality control systems, is located close to the universities and colleges with which it collaborates closely on research projects. The systems developed here include the NotaSave colour-inspection system for security presses and QualiTronic für Rapida sheetfed presses. Our Bielefeld staff also write hardware and software programs, test and fine-tune cameras and optics, develop sensors, design illumination systems and formulate image-processing algorithms.
