H-type printing units incorporate single-size plate cylinders and double-size blanket cylinders, a dedicated AC motor for each printing couple, undershot film inking units with half- or full-width ink troughs, and triple-roller spray dampeners.

Inking unit

The superstructure on the Prisma is based on the proven design of our double-width presses, e.g. the Colora and Commander. Durable and compact, yet easy to access, the superstructure supports a high level of production flexibility and is available with a wide choice of optional features for greater product diversity.

Web infeed, web tension

Distributed AC drives help maintain a constant web tension in the superstructure

Our Prisma press is available with a high-performance KF 3 jaw folder (cylinder ratio 2:3:3) for up to 80 pages, a KF 5 (2:5:5) for up to 120 pages or our high-end KF 7 (2:7:7) for up to 144 pages broadsheet.
